Mirrors are a pivotal accessory, especially when it comes to the bathroom. I feel homeowners are quite savvy to bringing in mirrors to other rooms in their homes as well. The question is, are they just as savvy when it comes to placing the appropriate mirror appropriately?
Mirrors are an essential to the bathroom and can work nicely pretty much anywhere else as well. Making a mirror look perfect in a space means placing the perfect mirror there as well. For example, lets look at some mirrors in the bathroom.
Here are two completely different looks and two completely different mirrors. The first is a more modern space that shows a really cool round mirror. The round mirror compliments the round sink and showcases the theme here beautifully. The second is a more grand space which highlights three mirrors recessed into the wall, each with a nice spotlight. This design showcases that more than one (and even two) mirrors can truly glam up a bathroom.
Your bathroom mirrors have take into account everything else going on in the room (just like everything else really). If it’s going to be a standout, it has to stand out in all the right ways.
This mirror wouldn’t exactly make sense in every bathroom, for obvious reasons. Here though, it is stunning!!! All of the wood panels accentuate this one of a kind mirror! This frame truly stands out in all the best ways here!
So when it comes to mirrors in other rooms, the rule about the look of the mirror still applies. The trick is to figure out where exactly the mirror should go.
Feng Shui is a widespread practice when it comes to design. For those who aren’t familiar :

Feng shui is all about the energy flow! So mirrors play a HUGE part in reflecting that energy!

Some DON’TS :
Opposite a Front Door, Negative Views, End of a Hallway, Bottom of Stairway, Over-Stimulating Positions in a Bedroom, Facing a Toilet, or Displaying Broken Mirrors.
