WOOD COUNTER TOPS…
Nothing says beach living like the warmth of a wood counter top. I think that wood is a much under used material that should be considered in your next Newport beach kitchen remodel. In the days of grays and white with white marble counter tops, why not switch it up a bit and add a little wood.
When working with our clients in Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar and Newport Coast – we like to at least consider the options of wood. I don’t like wood for the entire countertop, but I love a wood piece in an island. from Walnut to Wenge there are so many options out there.
I think the trick with the wood is make it a statement piece. I love the pairing of wood with white or painted cabinets. I think the darker woods look amazing with the white cabinetry as seen above.
