The verdict is in! Pantone Color Institute has announced that Radiant Orchid is the color for 2014!
Pantone is a world-acclaimed, expert color corporation. They began as a printing company in New Jersey, but now are the leading authority on printing, categorizing, and matching colors. Every year, Pantone selects a color to represent Zeitgeist, or the “spirit of the times”.
The company describes that the color Radiant Orchid, “Blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination…emanates great joy, love, and health. An invitation to innovation…encourages expanded creativity and originality, which is increasingly valued in today’s society…”
You’ll be sure to see much of Radiant Orchid this year since it is a versatile color that works well with any skin tone and works well with lots of other colors.
